I've been trying to find a jumper for Sydney at all of the consignment sales I've visited and, of course, since it was the one thing I was looking for, wouldn't you know that it was the one thing I couldn't find. But my friend Susan came through last week while she was at a consignment sale - one phone call and a promise to pay her back later, we now have this awesome jumper for Sydney.
Sydney turned 5 months old this past weekend. We had a big weekend with Uncle Matt and Aunt Natalie in town visiting and Cousin Joshua's dedication, so the birthday pictures had to wait!
"Yay, I'm 5 months old!"
Daddy was trying to tickle Sydney to evoke a smile. It was not successful.
"Why is Daddy trying to tickle me?"
Success! Love that sweet smile!
Our latest trick is trying to sit up... Trying being the key word here. She can "sit" like this very briefly. Sometimes. Most times we topple over :)
Susan called earlier this week with some news about her consignment sale finds (more on that to come in a future post), and as a result, we had to (aka had a good excuse) to go visit this week.
Carolyn at 12 weeks and Sydney at almost 5 months.
The weather has finally started to break, and it's starting to feel nice outside. So tonight we went to the Suwanee Town Center and ate some Mellow Mushroom, then had some frozen yogurt at Yogli Mogli. (which as it turns out is the best!) We took a walk around the town center and took some pictures with this sweet little baby.
Sydney was a bit confused with what she was supposed to be doing with her tongue, but she was starting to get the hang of things towards the end. She was definitely interested.
We got a several faces like this one....
and quite a few of these. :)
Just a disclaimer: these are probably fairly boring to everyone but the grandparents ;)
