I am real sure...

I am 100% sure that she had more clothes on than this when we put her down for bed last night.

At least she kept her diaper on.

She did point to her toes right after I took this picture and told us "cold.".

Her baby doll

Sydney LOVES her baby doll.

Baby has recently been found wearing a pair of (Sydney's) pajamas or a pair of socks because, as I am told, "Baby cold".
Sydney has also taken to sharing her food and drink with baby....

Baby must also go with us wherever we go.  The other day we went to check the mail, and as usual, Baby tagged along.

Halfway there, Sydney exclaimed "kick" (aka "stick") and grabbed a stick that she found on the ground.   And in the process, Baby ended up here:

face down in the dirt is never a good place to be

I asked her where her baby was and she said "Baby uh-oh" and ran over to pick her up and give her a hug and a kiss to make it all better.

It was okay in the end, she figured out how to carry both Baby AND the stick.

Staying warm

I just finished a new quilt.  I think Sydney approves of it...

Mom's shirt

These crack me up.  Little Lady is "wearing" one of my shirts.  It probably goes without saying that she put it on all by herself.

Her favorite new trick is to walk around saying "Ahh Choo" repeatedly if you sneeze...

Putting Bella in her place

Bella got in trouble recently and I told her to 'go to her bed'.  She knows what this means, but doesn't always like to do it.  So she went and laid down in the middle of the living room.  I was okay with it - she was out of my way and KNEW she was in trouble, so I figured I'd made my point.

Sydney had heard me tell Bella to go to her bed, though, and was NOT okay with Bella just laying in the middle of the room.  So she took it upon herself to help:

I love that Bella keeps cutting her eyes back at me like "Mom?  Mom?  Aren't you going to help me out here?"

Stretching with Daddy

Apparently, you are never too young to make sure that you are stretching enough.

"Now, touch your toes"

Forget ballet or gymnastics, we're going straight to baby yoga.

It's okay if you get tired, you can just go sit on Daddy's feet while he finishes up.

Winter is here

I think it's safe to say that winter has definitely arrived.
